– Former athletic (middle distances) representing the national team as from 1982-1992, and had several colored medals.

– 1996- 2005 Member of the Syrian Athletics Federation.
– 1995-2005 Head of the SAF Supreme Technical Committee.
– 2002-2004 Asian Athletics Federation’s Coaches’ Committee Member.
– 2005-2015: Syrian NOC Member, Head of Organization Office.
– Member of the Syrian Olympic Academy Board of Directors and a lecturer in it
– 2005– Present, Syrian NOC Member.
– 2009– Present: IAAF Coaches Management lecturing director.
– Founder of the “Cadets’ National Olympiad” program for talents’ identification on the national level.
