Hatem Al-Ghayeb, born September 25, 1971 from Al-Ashara in Deir Al-Zour Governorate, is a former Syrian football player who was playing in the defense center. He is currently the director of the Syrian Police Club and President of the Syrian Arab Football Federation. In the Syrian police.
Brigadier Hatem Al-Ghayeb is considered one of the most prominent players in the Syrian Police Club for football during the nineties of the twentieth century, where he spent all his football career with the Police Club from 1987 to 2000,
He is one of the most prominent players in the Syrian national team in that decade, like the Syrian national team in several Arab, Asian and international competitions, where he participated in the finals of the World Youth Football Championship 1991 in Portugal and the Asian Youth Soccer Championship 1990-91, and also participated in the 1996 Asian Cup Finals that took place In the United Arab Emirates.
Brigadier Hatem Al-Ghayeb was elected President of the Syrian Football Association during the electoral conference held by the Game Federation on December 28, 2019 at his headquarters in Al-Faiha Sports City in Damascus.
